Delivery Information

We deliver to UK mainland postcodes at a flat rate of 48.00 inc VAT for orders under £1000 or free-of-charge for orders over the value of £1000. Some smaller items (such as lights) can be delivered at a lower cost via DHL, but please contact us for details.

It is your (the customers) responsibility to check that large items can be delivered to the intended room for the product. We cannot be held responsible for product not fitting through small doorways, into lifts or up narrow staircases. If in doubt, please contact us for exact dimensions of your chosen product.

Delivery of your Fitted Wardrobe World order will take generally between 2-3 weeks.  Orders placed before Friday morning of week 0, will be shipped to our delivery company on Friday of week 1, and delivered to you 'normally' during week 2.  You will get a call during week 1 to agree a delivery date for week 2.  On occasion, this might roll onto the begining of week 3, but we still aim to deliver within 3 weeks of actual order.

Please contact us for special delivery requirements to the Isle of Wight. There is usually an extra £40 delivery charge.

Damage Replacement Policy


An attempt should be made to inspect the product for transit damage when it arrives.  Please also make sure that all items that are signed for are received.  You actually have 48 hours to inspect and report transit damage, but after that it is impossible to judge whether it was done by our delivery company, or by your installer, so please check within 48 hours and we will replace (no questions asked).  After 48 hours this is not possible.

Product which has been prepared for installation or previously fitted is deemed to have been accepted, and cannot be claimed against.

Where deliveries are signed ‘unchecked’ the goods are deemed to have been delivered in full and correct.

Deliveries that are turned away or cancelled will incur abortive delivery charges to cover our costs.

Replacement product will be supplied as soon as reasonably possible.

The customer must advise our Customer Service Department within 3 calendar days of any delivery defect that was not apparent at the time of delivery (i.e. damaged or incorrectly delivered item under packaging) supplying the invoice number.

For product supplied flatpack, the time allowed for reporting delivery defects is 7 days. These items must be retained in a secure area to prevent any further loss or damage until inspection or collection. In the case of high value items, such as sinks and appliances, a chargeable replacement will be provided for damaged or incorrect items and credit may be given on receipt of the original item, subject to condition

Returns Policy

We do accept returns of product, although the return cost is at the customers expense, and we do not refund the original delivery cost (which is always £45 plus VAT), whether we charged for delivery or not.  Their is also a 15% restocking fee of the value of the product.  If you would like to make a return, then please contact us to make arrangements.  We can suggest our own delivery company, which is at a cost of £45+VAT, but the contract will be between you and the delivery company, not us.  It is vital that all returned product must be in a resaleable condition, and it is the customers responsibility to ensure that it is.  If a product is returned, and then found to be unsaleale due to damaged or spoiled packaging, then no refund will be made.  Please take photos of the product before you send, as you may require these to make a claim on the delivery company that you chose.
